1. How long is the power cord?

This unit is equipped with a 6-foot power cord.

2. What are the dimensions of this fan?

The dimensions of the Kona fan are approximately 7" W x 7.5" L x 9.5" H.

3. Can I direct wire the fan, or must I use the cigarette lighter plug?

Yes – to direct wire this unit, please remove the cigarette lighter and hard wire and make sure it is connected to 12 volts only. Please ensure that the smooth cord wire (with writing) is attached to the negative (ground) wire and that the ribbed cord wire is connected to the positive (red) wire.

4. What is the usable voltage range for the 12v & 24v Kona model fans?

Caframo 12-volt model fans will operate within a range of 9-15 volts. Our 24-volt model fans will operate within a range of 18-30 volts. Please note: - In most cases, the fan may operate slower in a low-voltage situation. - Operation above 14 volts for our 12-volt models and 28 volts for 24-volt models is not recommended for continuous use. Operating at these levels with elevated temperatures (>30⁰C) may cause damage to the product.
